How difficult would it be to run every single light in or on the truck into one switch that would cut power to them?

    Has anyone done this?

I’ve seen this done on motorcycles, but curious why you’d do it on a large vehicle? So deer don’t see you when hunting?

    No.

    reasons man.

LoL, I think it would be cool to have. I’m going to install extra lighting at some point soon, so if I have an Extra switch, how about a Nothing switch too

well that’s the $1,000 question: is it possible to wire in a switch at the point of the fuses. I’m not an electrical wiz at all, just thinking that’s where they all come together: fuse box

I think there COULD be a way to wire in a kill switch for the brake lights as well.

Besides the TSS, there are other systems that are tied into the brake system pedal switch. Removing the systems fuse would give you a CEL. You'd need to "cut" supply to the lights, not the switch/system. The connector to the stop lamps is in the engine fuse box.

Don't you essentially have this already? Turn your headlight stalk to Off. Hit Home on the headunit, then tap settings in the upper right, and then at the bottom, tap Screen Off. At that point, all you are left with should be the instrument center display. Dim that all the way and go to the fourth screen. For the most part, you'll just see the ODO.

the push to start signal is tied to the brake light circuit as well. Just something to consider that pulling the brake light fuse will give you a "brake malfunction" warning and you won't be able to start the truck

I has a dodge military pickup with a blackout toggle. One flick of a switch and no lights were operable as you drove through the dark. I used that feature all the time. Especially for commando camping and night time trail running. I'd love to figure a way to wire the Tacoma for this. I'm sure the Taliban has figured a way. Any new approaches to this?
