Were you thinking of dovetailing out or clearancing the bedsides?

depends if I kick them out or not, id like to keep them somewhat tucked and trim as much as i could but we will see. Nexus truck had a big 9 under it I think so well see where they end up, hes running the same bedsides as me on 37s and what hes cut out is what i wanna do. My axle is 70" wms but i still have alot more up travel and the tire is eating at the top of the fender so im gonna have to kick them a decent amount

Spares ready to mount. These came off the old fabtech ultra 4. Debating getting the other 4 polished and black rings. Just gonna be expensive.. waiting on a price from king for 4.0x18” 5 tubes with big finned resis. Then convert the coilovers to 16s to get some more travel. Also debating going to 12” shocks in the front as well once the rear is finished. The term buy once cry once is way too true. Anyway these get mounted tomorrow then dropped off at the shop this week. Link tabs and mounts are on the truck, next step I believe is to cut the back of the cab out and start running tubes.

Update: Ditching the 2.5x14"/ 3.5x16" shock combo and going to 2.5x16"/4.0x18" coilover will just be a coil carrier with no valving and the 4.0 will do the work. 3 week build time for the 18s so for now, getting tubes run from the cab to the trunk and then bump stop mounts till the bypasses show up and then on to shock mounts.

4.0 18” 7 tubes came in. Pumped on only a 2-3 week wait time from ordering. Feel bad for the 24 week people lol dropped them off the next day, next step is mount the rear hubs back on, mount the wheels and then drop it to bump and take measurements and then set the axle at bump and then cut the rear wall out and start pulling tubes. Getting close for the next big steps, the buggy is getting center mounted so that has a dead line then this thing is next on the list. Sucks waiting but I don’t have a deadline and just let’s me save for the interior, engine, and everything else that will be going on after the rear is made.

Getting bump set up. Frame is 8” off the ground in the rear, front is currently 12” undecided what I want to do in the front. Either keep the 10” shocks and re do upper shock mounts to come off the engine cage and clear out the frame rails for the lower arms, or go to a custom upper arm to clear bigger 2.5/3.5 12s.. steering rack is another hurdle also but I’d like to max every inch of this truck out. Center mounting is a little more than what I want to do right now... but the truck is back on top of the list to get worked on so hopefully we see a lot more progress going!

first 3 images are bump for front and rear before at 12” of frame flearence

Then if we redid upper mounts to get more up travel at 10” front frame clearance and then 8” rear frame clearance.

no idea yet, one side will be a storage box and then the other will have a mount for a yeti. But as far as the seat itll be a 3 seater with probably a PRP podium elite. Another alpha q wont fit which sucks cause id like to have them all match. Gonna try to lower the floor as much as i can so maybe it will. But im halfway tempted to run no seats because 2" B and C pilars and theres barely any leg room.
