The people at desert rat cut it out........ thats only required for 4wd so the differential can drop down. Im a prerunner:annoyed: who would have thought with their head rather than just reading the instructions and clearly saying (2wd are not required cutting of the cross-member):notsure:.... lol sorry to sound harsh haha then after i go back to order 6k in parts + install of what i have now and my request was that they put that back in since they fucked me over, their response "was not our problem". so as far as im concerned i will no longer be doing business with them and they would have gotten a real pretty pay check for this truck if they had done it lol. from what we have built before and what we have in our garage now theres no problem of putting this back in lol just frustrating. gives me more experience and betters my stills:welder:

hey man so i also have a 6" fatback lift and i was looking to downsize for now i asked two places about doing it for me an they told me they cant because when they instal that lift (second gen) you had to remove a cross member just wondering if you had to do they same thing on yours and how you went about replacing it.
    thanks man.

desert rat did the same thing to me. go through my build and take a look on how i did it. im sure you could do the same. it was easy for me since im a pre runner idk how much different it would be for 4wd since it also bolts the diff to that same piece

No stickers........but I prefer the door for the cammburg one. Its too big for end of the bed. Just put that king shield thingy on the bedsides. Looking forward to 35" too, but I want to build suspension and brakes first.......Got the power now with my turbo......About to put on glassworks unlimited's big kit front and rear.

finally got the front squared away. working on the rear towers then finally get this damn truck done. 37" maxxis stickies with welded diffs is killing me as a daily right now lol some pics of what i did. yes the angle of the bumps seems weird. my truck i do this how i feel fit. put alot of hard work and time into this thing so if you dont like it keep it to yourself.

    front finished

pics of welds and cans and straps

Getting big glass kit front and rear. How difficult was installing the glass? I think I am mostly concerned with the bed. I noticed your cutout of the bedsides. The rear tail light metal was left. How did that mate up to the glass? I'm confused how that fits......

i had a shop do all the work. got the whole truck repainted and had the glass mounted. it was easily over 2500 for glass, paint and install only for the fenders. i couldnt tell you how the mount up other than skin the old ones and fit them how youd like
