Hey Guys. I just bought my first Tacoma. Its a 2013 Mag Grey Prerunner SR5 Double Cab. The question I have for you all is this. What would you do to this beautiful machine with just 1000$? I don't want to put too much money into this truck because A: I'm in college and have too much beer to buy, and B: In a few years i think I'm going to trade it in for a V6. Have fun with it and provide links if you can!

I would leave it stock since you plan on trading it in a few years and 1000 bucks will get you an old man emu lift that's about it.

the usual"low/no cost"dechrome, debadge or black out emblems, tint(legal limits,of course)smoking the headlights and tail lights is a "no-go" for me,looks great when done correctly, but i've seen some screw-ups,ditch the blacks shocks for bilstein 4600(buy a good used set) or 5100's at stock ride height, factory fogs if you don't have them, stubby antenea.wish i'd chosen the "mgm" color.cut back on the brewskis and you'll have more cash for mods

I'd paint it Desert Sand Mica then go from there.

Leave it stock and don't touch it. Once you start f'n with it you won't stop and then you won't have any $$ for beer and that's just a sad place to be.

Clazzio Seat Covers OR Wheels 40% tint Side Steps KC Fog Lights
OEM Style Fog Lights from ebay + trd wheels 16" (Either the Simulated Beadlock style or the old 5 Spoke ones) that should be about $1K, I think that will enhance the looks + keep a stock/oem look.

Leave it stock, buy gas with the money, pay down any school loans, and then trade it in when you've had a job for a year.
