    Looks really sharp.
It's too bad the Blazers are discontinued... I wonder if TRS will be looking for a replacement for them?

Yeah, no kidding! Hopefully they come up with something similar. The Blazers are a pretty nice projector for the size.

I spoke to TRS and they didn't advise running the projectors exposed to the elements. I decided to keep them better protected based on the environment I live in. If I was in a place with very little rain and no salt, it might be a different story. If you follow my writeup, just leave the clear lens off and paint the shroud whatever color you wish (I did mine black) and you'll have the same look. In hindsight, I wish I would have painted the shroud white but I don't mind that blacked out look. People think they're just fog light blanks and keeps people from getting too curious.

FWIW, based on the way the stock fogs mount, I'd try to keep at least the back of the fog light in tact to make the mounting and aiming easier.

yeah thats true, thanx for the help. i guess keeping them protected would be a better option. especially since they no longer carry the blazers.

FX retros, Blazer fog-light retro, JVC KW-NT30HD head unit, Pioneer 6X9's in front doors, Pioneer 6.5's in rear doors, two Pioneer 12" subs in sealed boxes, Sony X-Plod amp, Hidden Hitch trailer hitch, EGR window visors, two PIAA low-tone horns, Westin light bar with two 100-watt KC low profile driving lights.
I have had my Blazer fog retros installed for over a year now. I have had zero problems and I am still super happy with them. I use them anytime my headlights are on. I can't comment on how the bowls might look though, the light output seems just as bright today as the day I installed them. I think the heatsinks are doing their job. No complaints at all.

x2. Not quite a long on mine but still doing great. No heat sinks installed :anonymous: (I ordered the wrong size and never got around to correcting my mistake) and I've got the fog light mod done so they stay on with my high beams.

I have been fixed on getting a pair of Blazers after reading this thread along with AsianAnt, Dissapointed to read that they were no longer available, until I found this link:

    http://www.distantxtremes.com/fog-lights.html

Has anyone dealt with or have knowledge of this vendor? Appreciate any input, the retrofit / projector world is new territory for me.

They have an 800 number... give them a call and see how quickly they answer and how helpful they seem to be.

The site layout seems a bit generic, but not everyone has a sharp web designer.

Good idea. Another option would be to call TRS. They don't have the Blazers listed in stock anymore but they have a set in their parts bin, or might be able to find a set.
