What's up guys! I got my 17 TRD SPORT 4x4 DCSB about a month ago. I plan on upgrading the suspension, just doing research on which route to go. Here she is :DIMG_0706.jpg

um prob a bobcat would be quicker and warmer with that amount of snow on a regular basis.

snow blowing 12+ on a regular basis with a snow blower gets tiresome really quick even with a 3 (wide) x 2 (deep) parking pad. 2 blizzards within a month sucked when its around -20F wind chills.

Definitely my favorite colour for the 3rd Gen! Almost got one too, but opted for more subtle, under the radar look. This thread has got me second guessing that decision though.

Dude, you should have gone with BBP. Why wouldn't you get the one that you personally like the best? Especially when spending that much money!

I got the BBP and love it!

    True true
The Black one was available at that moment with the trim level I wanted. That's really all it came down to.

Finally installed my TRD Pro grill!

Paid $200.63 after Florida sales tax (half of dealer cost so $187.50 since dealer cost is $375 FYI) as a part of the deal when I bought the truck on 12/22/16. Grill arrived on 1/5/17 but with two broken tabs (BTW I think they fixed the packaging finally so this should stop happening). I returned it but they then told me it's backordered until end of February... Parts manager finally said I can use this one for now until the new one arrives so I picked it up last night. I used some Loctite for plastics and it was fixed with no problems (probably not required anyways since there are so many tabs). Tip: when you are removing the 8 screws for the chrome bezel from the color outer grill, make sure you leave the bottom 2 screws for the two outer grill pieces. I removed them by accident. The other 8 screws are not needed with the Pro grill. If the dealership gives me the new grill, I'll likely sell it new in the box (keep an eye out!). If they say they need the old one back, I'll likely just tell them it's fine so that I don't have to go through the hassle and because the 'broken' one works fine.

Darker tint coming this weekend! And removal of chrome Tacoma door badges and replacement of the bedside decals with all-black ones coming next weekend!

    Only 2 screws you keep

Wow, very nice. This is exactly what I originally wanted to do with mine, but I'm not sure about the red on the pro wheels with the blue truck. And I do kind of like the stock rims on the sport. How do you feel about the red on the rims? Do you like it after having it for awhile?

Thanks! I think the chrome lugs/locks and red on the center caps is a nice pop of color to break up the all black. I was originally going to go with black lugs but I'm glad I didn't. You could also do white letters out on the tires for the same effect but I'm not crazy about that. Overall I'm really happy with it! Exactly what I was looking for. Personally I think the black looks great on the blue Sport. I'm looking forward to finishing my tint and swapping the bedside decals with black ones. I'm torn between leaving the door emblems as-is, plastidipping them black, or removing entirely. Currently leaning towards removing.
