Yessir. I've only had the truck for about 5 months. I did the stage 1 procomp lift. ( got it for less than $500 ) and put it on myself. It'll give me some time to decide whether i want kings or icons down the road. Little bumpy, but great off road.

@hellaflushca how stiff is the ride on road? How much did you pay for it and where did you purchase? I just got my tax return (whoop whoop!) so I'm looking at getting a lift in the next few days and doing it myself and have been looking at the 3" pro comp for a long time now.

I bought them knowing, they were not going to be top of the line. They, dont bother me at all. I dont do crazy off roading, nor do i plan to. The last thing i need is a dented or messed up truck that i've made less than a year of payments on.

Depends what your budget is. For the 500-600 dollar price point they're not horrible, you can always get upgraded shocks (pro runner, black etc) and get add a leafs if you wanted to.

The ride is fine off road, i dont expect to be out there feeling like im in a bentley. I've gone snow wheeling, mudding, everything and they hold up just fine. Its a truck its gonna be a little bumpy. For 500 bucks i cant complain. Im guesing once i upgrade to better suspension then i can really determine what i notice and what i dont notice.

I got them from 4wheel parts. They are having another huge sale in March, which is right around everyone's tax return.

The set up rides fine on the road, highway and street driving are great. Off road they are fine unless youre in a section where its a huge amount of bumps, then youll feel them a bit.

If you go up to the 800-1000 dollar price range it opens it up to Billy's and OME shocks/struts.

Overall, for the price i paid, and what ive been getting out of them. 9/10

    • Debadged Tacoma door emblems
    • Swapped bedside decals for black ones
    • Added 20% tint to the front and 35% tint to the rear over the privacy glass (almost a perfect match, just a hair darker in the back)
    • Attempted to install SOS Concepts sliders but it didn't work (NOTE: the 2017 frames are not identical to the 2016s.. they are missing three holes in the middle of the frame on each side and they also have an extra welded plate I believe in the front causing a gapping/bulge issue - see here for more info. This likely will affect all bolt-on sliders for the 2017 except Mobtown maybe who uses their clamp brackets)

Didn't think I liked the chrome inserts or chrome stuff in general but that looks great! It compliments the blue nicely. I went the complete opposite with debadging, going all black, etc
