Great purchase. My 16-yr-old son said the same thing about my 4Runner, which is now his. (>:

DSCN0002.jpg DSCN0015.jpg Just sold my 2012 SR5 4X4 Access Cab and purchased a 2017 TRD 4X4 Sport Access Cab in stunning Blazing Blue Pearl. I like the color better than all the others that are available. I drove straight from the dealership to the tire dealer and upgraded from the stock all seasons to a set of Toyo Open Country AT2s. To me they are a huge improvement.

Got my TRD SEMA wheels and 265/70/17 Falken Wildpeak AT3/W's installed yesterday, made a huge improvement in the truck. Thanks @pwalnut for the tips and info on this.

If those went on my truck, it would really look like my truck missed leg-day.

This was one of my first mods to the truck...good bye chain link fence grill.
    -----------------------------------
    Parts list

Custom Car Grills Mesh Insert-- $79.99

    Automotive Goop-- $8.99

    Solaris Trunk Emblem--- 14.99

    V6 Emblem--$8.99

    Zip Ties

    1 Hour of work

When I bought my Tacoma I hated the “chain-link fence” grill (that’s what the sales man called it). I actually wanted the SR5 grill. After looking around at other year models I liked the gen 2. All black with a Chrome Toyota emblem. I went on line and found a grill at CustomCarGrills.com with an easy install. Then I looked for a emblem. I found a chrome one off a Solaris 2006 trunk on Amazon (I could not find a Solaris in my neighborhood J)

The build is as follows. Pretty fun… Kept me out of trouble. (not really)

    Remove the grill and frame

    Before…Yes, Oliver helped.

Actually it is. We drove to 1500 miles to Texas. The grill looked like a Georgia bug zapper.

I can't imagine how my radiator would have looked.

thinking about at2's as well! I know you just got them, but can you comment on your experience with these tires? Also, I assume you are running stock suspension so what are the tire specs please?
