My neighbor just suffered a similar hit in his 2020 Off Road. $16k in damage. Would require too much heat to straighten frame making it unsafe. Total loss. He paid $38k new. They gave him $48k including money for his mods. Now he is on the hunt for a replacement. Not waiting for a new one so looking for another used Off Road 4 x 4 or a Sport 4 x 4. I don't envy anyone looking for a Tacoma in todays market.

I still have no confirmation on wether it’s a total loss or not. They keep telling me more than likely it will be.
I already put a deposit on a 2022 ACLB Off-Road that my dealer said was going to be there in October (they already had what I was looking for allocated to them).
Hopefully my insurance plays ball and at minimum replaces my bed cap, the tires would be nice too, but I’m not gonna hold my breath.

Edit: Also forgot to mention that my rental got a baseball sized ding in the window, which is now a big crack… Seems I can’t catch a break with this one.

Big fan of access cabs. My 2016 BBP was an access cab Sport. Sold it and bought a 2012 SR5 access cab and a 2008 Off Road access cab. I check here once in a while to see if the new owner has posted with my old 2016. Must not be a member because I haven't found it yet.

After having the SR5, I realized that even with my dogs, the back seats pretty much get used for my day pack.
I like the access cab cuz I can get a TRD Off-Road and still keep the 6’ box as I use it a ton and the 5’ wouldn’t do.

Had 1 double cab short bed. Useless bed to me. Used the back seat only to carry my lunchbox. Love the fold flat rear seat feature in the 2008 access cab. The 2012 is just like the 3rd gen with 2 fold up seats instead of the fold flat feature.

Ha ha I definitely agree about the 5’ bed being useless to me.
As for the rear seats, it’s too bad they went for the fold up design over the fold flat, but I’ll probably just build a platform for when I bring the dogs places.

Either way… I’m gonna miss having the BBP. Blue Crush will have to do.

Yes I do miss the BBP. A lot of 2012 to 2015 owners swapped rear access seats to the fold flat. Would not do that to a newer truck though

Bed Cover, Side Steps, Fake Pro Grille, Raptor Lights, Front window tint to match the rear and whole front windshield tint, black overlay on emblems, tailgate lettering. Color match TOYOTA on grille.
Does anyone have a picture of a BBP TRD Sport factory ride height with sport wheels painted or dipped black? Maybe even with some A/T tires.
