They only sent me 3 of the crappy v-tec caps originally. no vision caps. just three altogether. Discount Tire called today and said that the vision caps they reordered came in. I got there, and they opened the box, and vision just sent one vision cap. So now i have 3 v-tecs and a vision cap. They are going to make them send me 3 more vision caps.

Nice truck!! I wish Toyota put the painted fenders on the TRD Off Road too. After I pick up my truck I'll need to get mine painted.

oh wow I didn't notice that the trd are painted until now may dealer didn't have any bbp on the lot I had to order mine in.i guess the sr5 have the chrome rear bumper.i also didn't expect them to be a plastic cover.

 

Its not the TRD that makes it painted. You have to get tech/premium package

 

lol you paid 3-5k more for that SR5 TSS than a normal SR5. for that price jump you could have bought a TRD OR/Sport

yeah the GST(TSS) add on package was 3395.00,my dealer gave me a 2165.00 rebate or discount off of sticker and I went on line and priced out the add on parts it came to about 2300.00 in parts only so I figured that was such a bad deal.i don't like the TRD OF wheels so I would replace them,im planning on some parts upgrade in the suspension only thing I wanted I could not get with the truck was the TRD SPORT hood (maybe later)so I felt like Mike Shaw Toyota (Corey)worked with me and im very happy with my truck.the other dealer in my area was not willing to work with me and wanted to charge over sticker and put a very large deposit to order one in.and I had about 9.5 of valve from my trade going into this deal.i walked away a very happy taco owner.if anyone is in the south texas area a would recommend giving Corey a call.

 

as long as you know the pro/cons of the TSS editions and the pricing they do so you are INFORMED and don't get screwed that's all that matters. ultimately you have to live with the decision at the time of signing.

2nd guessing after the fact doesn't help, I can attest to that on our trade in and final pricing on our 2016. I should have pushed for 27k for trade in instead of 26530 and probably wiggled another 500-900 of the price on the 2016, but in the end, I could live with the numbers that were within 5-10% of my chalk line numbers before I went in to sign.

if I am not happy, I will refinance the loan to lower APR to get closer to my marks, but at this time I am ok with it.

all the warden see's is she has her dream truck finally and she is like a little kid in a toy store happy with her new Tacoma.

 

Yeah the guys in this forum clued me in on a lot,so I kinda had a good idea on the deal I wanted and did want and finding the guy that was willing to help get the taco I wanted at the deal I wanted it was not easy and the wait for the truck was even harder lol! I went to 3 different dealerships before and very happy with the TSS package.getting bbp was even harder.
