I am about to purchase a new Tacoma and I am torn between colors. I absolutely love he blazing blue pearl but is it practical? I once owned a red truck and it was beautiful when it was new and clean but after a year or so the paint started to fade and it never looked that great again. It also showed dirt very bad and didn't look good dirty. I now own a white truck and it is 10 years old and still looks like it did on day one. Mind you I said good not great. Wash it a couple of times a year and it is happy. This will be my first Tacoma and I have no idea how their paint holds up. Has anyone out there owned the Tacoma blue for 5 or more years that can comment.

Get the color you prefer. I myself would get the white between the choice of those 2 colors. The BBP just hurts my eyes, way to bright for me.

    Stock and loving it
White is coolest and brightest. That's why I bought white. It's hot here and lots of blind drivers

Between those, I'd go white. I've never been a fan of blue vehicles.

I was absolutely 100% sure on white when I was shopping for my truck. I saw the BBP color in person and something about it really did it for me, so I called an audible.

Just got my BBP, so cant comment how it shows dirt yet, but have had white before and front ends always showed off any bugs and road grime a whole bunch. I was set on black till I was at the dealer and saw the BBP in person, plus it was time for change for 20 years every car/truck I've had was either black or white.

I test drove a BBP and the 10 minutes I drove it was enough for me. No way I could drive a truck that color for the next 10 years.

It has really been a tough decision for me. I was like stan23, sold on white until I saw a blazing blue pearl in person. I had never even considered a blue truck until I saw that one. My heart is saying go for it, but reason says it will probably fade, show dirt, and look bad after a year or two and I will wish I had purchased a white. I am still hoping some long time blue owners will "chime in" with the real world durability of the blue.

Do you want to see such a bright color shining in your eyes every time you use your truck. I don't just to bright for me but if that don't bother you then go for it.

    LS1 swap with nitros.
White is my vote... Doesn't age in the same way some loud colors do.

I've had mine almost a year and it still looks stunning. It's been through a lot too, dirt, mud, snow and sun. I love this color. Looks good dirty too.

White here for the longevity and keeps the interior a little cooler in the sun.
