Bleeding brakes

    Glad to hear the Motive bleeder worked for you. I have one as well, only have hooked it up to test the seal and the ability to hold the pressure, haven’t bleed the brakes yet.

    Quick question, any of you shooting the bleeder bolts with PB Blast a couple days before? Thanks.

    brake hoses are cheap, easy to replace, and should be done at 10yr.

    also an opportunity to get stainless lines, or longer SS for future lift compatability.


    penetrant doesn’t hurt. PB is on the weaker side. Or other things like some heat. A little bit of antisieze on the threads can prevent future getting stuck and stop air sneaking past the threads.

    and quickly applying good force to break it loose with a good fitting socket firmly seated on, rather than slowly upping the force

    BA10 adapter fits the reservoir. Tricky to use, requires install, pressurize, then tighten the clamps a little bit more again and watch for leak free holding.
