Has anyone purchased an aftermarket blend door actuator? How did it work?I’ve removed cleaned and reinstalled mine and it’s still not working correctly. If you have purchased an aftermarket one what brand did you find? I can’t find a denso OEM. Or If you can could you show a link to where you found yours? Thank you! First time Tacoma guy here

Which one? A few years back I replaced the one on the passenger side just to the right of my blower motor. I took the numbers off the part and searched Ebay and found a used one off a Ford. It looks and functions exactly the same. Part number was AW063700-6241

Sorry! The passenger side. And thank you for your reply! Unfortunately the new one fits great but it’s doing the same thing as the old one . Any idea what to check next? I took out the climate control unit and checked connections and cleaned but no luck. Any advice is appreciated!

So basically the climate control temperature isn’t consistent, I’ll turn the knob to cold and the ac works great, then I’ll turn it to hot or warm and it’ll stay hot or warm even if I turn it back to cold. I’ll have to turn it back and forth a bunch to get it to get to cold again. Now it’s just staying warm. So I read some posts to change the blend door actuator and I did that and that didn’t solve the problem. My guess is the climate control unit.

Did you check that the water valve is functioning properly?

I have not, How do you check if the water valve is functioning properly? That’s one thing I haven’t looked into

Sounds like sometimes it works correctly but not others. Watch it when switching from cold to hot and see if it's going the full range of motion. Take the cable off and see if you can move it easily by hand. Also called a heater control valve. Might help with searches.
