Blend door location

I’ve got a 2006. So I believe I have a blockage preventing the blend door from closing completely. I can adjust from hot to cold but when I don’t have the heat or ac on even with the adjustment all the way to cold I get hot air coming from the vents. I had to replace the blower about six months ago and found the whole area above and below the cabin filter packed full of crap from ether mice or squirrels. I live in the country and it’s a pretty common problem. I’m thinking that there’s probably some junk preventing the blend door from closing completely. Just trying to figure out if it’s right at the blower or in some other location. Gonna probably have to stick an endoscope threw everything I can to see how much more crap is in the ducting also.

 

You would have to remove the HVAC box from the truck and disassemble it to access the doors.

The actuators can be accessed behind the glovebox, you can observe if they are moving their full travel range.
