    I was thinking those were just reflectors, but I guess they're the turn signal covers. I doubt reflectors will work very well if you paint them.

    3 coats of primer and going to do about 4 coats of flat black. All krylon paint. Should I put clear coat on?

    i heard that is kinda hard to do...well it looks hard to me lol.....i like the amber you did....i think i did mine alittle to dark but o well lol. i still hope you can see my blinker light

    i say no on the clear coat. those are lookin good!

    Its not that hard really. It was hard getting them pulled apart. I was nervous about painting them but maybe since my dad is a painter his blood is helping me. I could help you if you wanted. You really don't need any tools to do it. Are you going on the durhamtown trip the 19th?

    Not trying to be debbie downer here, but by painting the chrome reflector on the turn signals and parking lights, as well as tinting the lenses REALLY dark, I predict very little light from either of these coming out.

    I painted the reflector portion, and left the lens covers stock and mines pretty dim as is.

    Gonna look sharp though!

    Clear coat isn't going to matter, you won't be able to tell either way since it'll be behind the lens. When I did mine, I did the bezel's flat black, and the reflectors high gloss with clear coat. Behind the plastic lens, you can't see a difference unless you get really close.

    thanks man....im done with one all i am doing is letting it dry and i just put another coat on the other one...i asked about clear coat cuz i didnt wanta the sun to eat it up and everthing after years of being in sun
