Just noticed my blind spot and rear cross traffic alert quit working (blind spot from either side). Hs anybody out there had this happen? If so, what was the fix.

Theyre togglable via either push buttons or via the menu that you access with the steering wheel controls. Is it enabled in either or both locations? I want to say its a button, but forget which it is as I never mess with it.

Are you getting a message on the instrument cluster saying “BSM not available”?

About a month ago I went through some deep water on the freeway. I sprayed contact cleaner on the BSM connectors under the rear bumper. Afterwards drove around for about 10 miles with the error message displayed and it cleared itself up. Clearing the error with a scan tool did not seem to reset the BSM system.

It is a button. I noticed that some water bottles are just the right height to toggle this button off when they shake in the cup holder.

Good point. Is your BSM button lit?

Yeah, that was all it was! Don't know how they both got turned off and honestly I had forgotten they were even there. Thanks all for the input.

    Good to hear.
It is very easy to bump that button. Water bottle, reaching into the cubby behind it, etc.

My parking sensors had a random phase where they stopped working after driving on a dirt road. Eventually they started working right again. No clue what caused it.
