I added the frameless 2" round convex mirrors to the existing flat ones. Works great for me and way cheaper.

Crashing into oneself? Huh? You should NOT see your own vehicle in your mirrors

However you do want to see what is coming up on either side of you and the center mirror frequently cannot see far enough behind you.

If you NEED to check your Blindspot you were not paying enough attention, you should already know what is there because you were watching the traffic in the lanes next to you. You check them just to make sure.

Focusing on your blind spots is focusing only on what is directly around your vehicle. You should be planning driving around every car in the 1/2 mile in front of you and the 1/2 mile behind you, how they are driving, and what move THEY are going to take and if it will affect you

Do these mirrors replace needing to turn my head before changing lanes?

just kidding… may have to get a set here too.

Just watch while a car passes you. It should start to appear in your side mirror before it completely disappears from your rear-view mirror. If so, you have it set correctly.

I always spin my head around and spy to see if I'm 100% clear.
Been doing it with success for 50+ years, seems to work.

Motorcycle safety instructor said to the class one day:
Mirrors say No, but they never say Go

That instructor taught me things that saved my azz on more than one occasion.

I've got the Spotter Mirrors and like them. After you've had them a while, when looking in the regular side mirror you don't notice the Spotters anymore until you need to look in them. I imagine the same for RAV4 and stick-on mirrors too.

No one mentions pulling a trailer. I pull a small enclosed trailer. The inside mirror is useless unless you are checking to see if the trailer is still there.

Nerf bars, bed mat, anything I can think of!
I haven’t decided whether to go with the Spotters or the Rav4s but, if I do go with Ravs, will theses fit a 2020 SR5 : 87961-42D20 &
    87931-42D50?

I figured they would so I ordered them :D

My 22 Tacoma came with a stick on triangle blind spot mirror. I like the little round ones better. Correct adjustment of mirrors is important, but you can still get a surprise. Check what the professional drivers are using.
