    While pulling a trailer? This recall is for what I'll interpreted as a secondary function to sense the trailer, and it was how the dealer contact described it to me yesterday.

    Otherwise I've found the standard blind spot monitor reliable and if anything conservative. It is also impressive in poor visibility. That stood out in my ski trips that included a month long trip in CO catching storms and the classic I 70 challenges and Lake Superior lake effect snow storms.

    BSM are great, but like anything electronic, it has “gremlins”……..and unfortunately teaching a whole generation on NOT TO LOOK.
    Call me old fashioned, I still put a small round blind spot mirror on my mirror and double check…….be surprised what you see.
