I somehow manage to bump my hazards on about once a week. Luckily they make these little lights on the dash to tell you they are on

After my 91 yo FIL passed away I drove his Caddy for a couple of weeks until we could get it sold. My wife asked me how I liked it. I told her the car is nice but I keep forgetting to turn off the turn signal.

So I'm picking up what you're putting down OP.

HID or LED upgrade mod for the dash lights? Maybe @mesojdm could fab something up for you.

edit: Wait, he released the "Taco pods". Fit 1 on each side of the instrument cluster and wire to the lights in the instrument cluster.

Do you really need someone to solve your problem for you? Sorry I’m such a dick but you’re creating a problem that doesn’t exist

Are you activating your blinkers and not turning? if the turn is gradual and not sharp enough to deactivate them, maybe start training yourself to just hold them slightly but not fully engage them so when you're done your gradual turn you just let go.

This whole site is based on helping others with problems. Most problems are caused by modifications . My blinker isn't loud enough for me and I'm looking for help .

Regardless of how gradual the turn is, square it off like you're a pleb at West Point and your blinker will be deactivated.

The culture shifted from “I bought this truck as designed” to “why aren’t the cup holders 2mm bigger to accept my free trade bamboo sippy cup. WHY? I spent 40k on this it should be custom tailored to every individual quirk I have. How could the designers have missed this?!?!”

People who didn’t adapt used to die. Weird how things change.

Oh, to be young again, if but for a moment. A moment in which to once again know everything, be superior to everyone, and seize every opportunity to bless everyone with your wisdom. One day, one that will come too soon, you shall be old, your hearing not as good as it was back when the world fell at your feet. At that point in your life you too will not hear your turn signal. So, many years from now, when some little millennial fuck (or whatever they will be calling young assholes at that time) blares his horn at you, passes you and give you the finger because you didn't hear your blinker signal and have been riding with it on for miles, please think back to the nice old man in this post who told you about the older you. And smile.

I see it once in a while also. Sometimes I wish I could pull them over and figure out what brand of stupid exists between their ears. If you think that there's something about your car that is so hazardous that you have to warn other drivers, why on earth are you still keeping up with traffic on the freeway? o_O

    I believe you.

Unfortunately TW isn't always what it should be.

Hang in there, I think you can prevail if you keep civil.

Buy two Baja Designs Rock lights and mount them to your dashboard. Tie each one into your mirror turn signals. Problem solved

You do realize you are the only one that does not get it, right?
    1. Turn down the stereo.
    2. Move your wheel

Neither will cause you undue discomfort.

What everyone is reading is "Hey! Even though I am the only one in the world with this problem, and it is directly caused by me and my wants, I want someone to tell me how to fix this problem (instead of me figuring it out on my own) because I don't want to change anything!"
