It didn't hurt my feelings, it was just a bit uncalled for and unhelpful

You could park it. Everyone wins. You don't have to worry about not hearing the blinkers. The general public doesn't have to worry about your blinker always being on. Win win

do you like to drink beers with a straw?

Just an FYI and friendly advice, you will find that issues that can be fixed easily won’t be received well on here. For one, this is a first for me to see someone asking for louder blinkers. I mean, is it that hard to move a finger to check if the lever is up or down? If you can’t hear the blinkers you might need hearing aids, no offense. I can hear it fine when my music is at 35 volume or below.

Tied several boat anchors to my truck to destroy MPG.
I've rewired my blinker to a subwoofer. Then you can feel when your blinker is still on. I'm working on rewiring the seat heater to get really hot when I'm in the passing lane too long.

Can you get drunk quicker by using a straw?

So I just jumped in my truck to grab some lunch, and can't fathom how the steering wheel blocks your view of the turn signal arrows on the console (I'm 5'8"). They are pretty much even with the temperature reading on my 17 OR. Are yours located somewhere else?

I know you've said you don't want to move your steering wheel, but just move it so you can see them, be uncomfortable for a little bit and eventually you'll get used to it and then you won't have to worry about people laughing at you with your blinker on.

Or leave it and let us laugh.

The added classy factor of a straw in a can makes your body absorb the alcohol 10000x faster.

    Chief,

I see this situation a lot on the forums: someone identifies a problem and asks for help on the first solution that they think of. The world chimes back, albiet in a sometimes impolite way, that perhaps there are better, easier solutions out there to solve the problem.

The op is either unable or unwilling to consider thinking outside the box, maybe they are too focused on the one solution and not solving the problem, (i.e. forest through the leaves), or perhaps they are too offput by the less-than-polite responses to hear what they are saying. A shitshow commences, much to the glee of the unwashed masses such as myself.

I'm exactly your age. I'm a big guy and about as cantankerous about my driving position as you are. I guarantee that there is a combo wheel/seat position in that truck that allows you to see the whole cluster, and it ain't that uncomfortable either. Spending 1/2 to one hour experimenting with ergonomics in your driveway is a whole lot easier than ripping into the dash and spending money. That's what we are trying to say. If you want to hear the blinker chime like big ben, then go forth into unexplored territory my son, and send us a full write up with what you find.

Dude, you have a bunch to learn about jberry. The mods on TW deal with all kinds of stupid stuff all day. They can't help but deal with it because this is the most popular Tacoma forum. Hyperbole does not actually mean he wishes you dead. Maybe he does wish that on all of us that have continued this silly thread, but probably not you. If you can't handle a moderator replying hyperboles on a Tacoma forum, you should probably stay of the rest of the internet.
