Please bear with me, complicated issue:
Speedo, blinkers, a/c unit not working. Replaced alternator and battery. Still no good, and vehicle keeps dying. It feels like a charging issue but doesn’t seem to be. It gets complicated because the airbag deployed when the drive shaft fell out while traveling 65 MPh on the highway. So airbag light also lit, obviously. Could this be related to the airbag system? Sitting in the parking lot right now having just put the new alternator in, so no way to test the system voltage right now.

Whoa, back up, your driveshaft fell out?

Is the Check engine light on? Do you have an obd2 scanner to check for codes?

With such a weord array of issues, I'd assime something wiring harness related. Dod the driveshaft damage any of the harness under the cab?

    Wow! You got several issues.

The SRS module will have to be rebuilt after you replace the air bag.

Many times during a steering wheel bag deployment, the clock spring is damaged. Be prepared to have to replace those 3 things right off the bat.

The clock spring can affect the horn, signals and CC depending how it blew.
