    Help!

I recently blocked the rear of my truck with 1 in blocks. Piece of cake. Front billstein 5100s and I didn't like the Cali look so i leveled it out with the blocks.

However....now the truck misbehaves. I noticed it at freeway speeds. It feels like when you are on a freeway that didn't settle right...the truck kind of bounces up and down, shaking the crap out of the passengers. i don't know a better word to use to describe it. It's not a vibration...it's kind of like having no shocks in the rear or like when you are on a dirt bike going over whoops and the bike tries to throw you off...

Someone mentioned drive shaft angle but doesn't the block make the angle the same, it just increases it?

I am confused...and a bit car sick form the ride! Ha!

    Any thoughts?

    enough to go over stuff
If you have your original 07 shocks in the rear they may be alittle old to operate now with the additional hight. Id check the torq on the ubolts first. Then I would remove the blocks and add an add a leaf and new rear shocks.

What happens performance-wise as the shocks age, they get more "squishy?" it feels as though they are not able to react quickly enough to whatever the springs are doing...

The add a leaf option is dicouraging since the existing set is already all flattened out...

If everything's put back together correctly - I'd guess your original shocks are worn out.

I had some shocks a long time ago wear out such that the compression damping was shot but the rebound damping was still there. You could have some type of shock wear that's simply more evident now that the truck's sitting a little higher on the shock at the 'rest' position.

OP - Your leaf springs look ok for being the wimpy 3 leaf set. I would recommend going with our 3 Leaf Progressive AAL set, and some new shocks like the bilstein 5100s.

The aal set will help the pack ride and perform better. And if your rear shocks are the originals, they may well be worn out.
