Blower blows but...

My 2017 TRD Sport has an intermittent issue with the blower. It blows on all speeds but isnt coming out of the vents. This has happened 2 or 3 times in the 2 years I've had it. Lasts a day or two and goes back to normal. You can hear fan blowing and changing speeds with the switch, the air just barely comes out. It doesnt matter if you use defrost, floor, dash, recirc, heat/ac....all the same. Any thoughts/suggestions?

 

Should be a recall on it, had mine changed last year. Check with your dealer about this.

 

When was the last time the cabin air filter was changed?

 

Yeah I had a recall on my 17 as well. Something about a piece in the blower motor. I was told to make sure they replace the whole thing and not just the part because it would fail again.

 

Sounds like you have an intermittent blockage in the ducts. Maybe leaves or other debris got in there. Try vacuuming the ducts.
