Blower motor and bsm not working

Has anyone had the problem where the blower motor and bsm doesn’t work at the same time? Both have quit a few times now and when the bsm comes back on so does the blower motor.

The ac light only comes on for 8 seconds before turning back off but the blower never actually blows. The bsm button won’t turn on at all when this is happening.
