I'm attempting to get Jorge at Camelback Toyota to come up with a special price on the new blower motor that has bearings instead of bushings.

Brodie, your truck is new enough that you won't have the common problem. I think they upgraded the motor in '12. The older ones are prone to a ticking or squeaking noise at the lower fan speeds. It's caused by an oil impregnated bushing that was not up to the task. Toyota has replaced that motor with one that has real bearings in it.

My '12 makes a sort grinding noise at fan speed 3 or higher. It doesn't squeak or anything though.....yet.

    DTRL anytime, all leds,
I've literally tried everything to fix my blower. Tried turning the screws on the back that balance it, completely took apart and re-greased everything twice and there is still a slight chirp on low. In short, I would be interested in the group buy as well.
