If it's not under warranty any more, check the beginning of this thread for instructions how to dismantle and grease it up....... or just buy a new one - think they're about $125 (in Ontario - probably way better south of 49).

Had the original replaced twice, and after I took it in for the third time, they said the fan was fine and there was a bunch of leaves and sticks in there that they cleaned out. It was chirping when I left the parking lot. I actually had to get shitty with them and they replaced with the new model. It's been about a month now and it's still silent.

Took my 2011 in for the chirp this morning and the service manager told me flat out there is an issue with the blowers and about 45 minutes later came out and told me they put the new one in. Meaning the new part number. He has been a great guy to deal with since i took it in for the spring pack upgrade, he always tells me the stuff there probably not aloud to lol.

My biggest issue was the motor not starting up without me reaching in and spinning the blades... I put the new one in and i heard of few chirps. But fuck it ...it works lol

I am sorry i only read a couple of post i know this gets people mad.

But anyways I just got my blower motor replaced for the second time this year. come to find out from the dealer. TOYOTA came out with a new motor in OCTOBER (they put the new one on). Some where on the motor in the serial number you can tell when yours was manufactured. I am sorry but I dont know where. Mine has been good for two months now.
now I can use the heat without the radio too loud. Just to drown out my bad needle bearing:(

So I've had mine replaced 3 times on my 2010. Is this "new" one actually a fix? I've heard this before so I'm skeptical.
