So i bought the rosen plug n play nav unit off ebay.
went to hook it up. it turned on. and i had it on. and than i realized i forgot to plug the steering controls jn. so i moved the radio and moved the antenna out of the way and the radio turned off. i moved it again and it turned back on. and than it would turn off again.
so i plugged the factory unit back in and that worked fine.
so i tried the rosen again and noticed it wouldnt turn on....
so i checked my fuses and the 7.5A ACC fuse (that controls the cig lighter and aparently the radio too) in the panel next to my knee was blown.
now i have an add a fuse connected to this fuse slot and i have a 10A in there for my usb switch that i installed in one of the switch blanks. that worked fine. so i replaced the 7.5 fuse and tried the factory radio worked fine.
went to hook up the rosen and it blew the fuse.

would this add a fuse in the slot for the usb switch be the reason im blowing the fuse anytime i go to hook up the rosen unit? maby its drawing too much power?
if anyone can help me out thatd be great.
    Thanks

Yeah. You are using up too much power for the circuit to handle it. Remove your USB switch or find a new way to wire it if you want to run that radio.

    thats what i figured.
but with the 7.5 and the 10A in the fuse slot with the factory radio that is fine correct because it works fully with no problems

assuming the new radio draws more power than the factory unit?

do you have a suggestion where i can add that add an fuse for the usb switch so it comes on with my ignition and i can leave the 7.5 for the acc free?

Na, that wire is coax, an inner core with braided shielding around it. Hard to repair coax wires...
