i have my front panel off and i cut the little light that lights up the ash tray off, so theres two live wire.

today i hooked up a little led to them and it was working fine but i think the live wires touched cause now theres no power going to it or the lights that light up the speedometer. Could i have blown a fuse?

    Could be a fuse.

Part of the dimmer switch could also be burned out. It's an easy repair but not the cheapest one.
