    vice versa for him, I think as long as its a 4.0 from 05+, ideally newer with less miles

    ah fair point. i dont know why i read 2008 as the truck.

    technically you can run the non SAIS engines on the newer ones too. but you will need the hewitt bypass for sure. the one that delete everything

    my SAIS had to be disabled for my JBA long tubes in my tundra. MUCH better now.

    What an awesome alternative to run a Diesel engine in our trucks, but the price to play is really not reasonable for most people.
    These guys are losing out on tons of money, because I'm willing to bet people would source an engine from them or motor mount kit if they sold that alone.
    I've swapped lots of engines into Hondas/Acuras over the years along with thousands of other people. So many companies offer the custom motor mounts, shift linkage, ecu jumper harness, etc...
    These dieseltoy guys are missing out, but maybe they want to stay in that niche market.

    The other problem is you can get used older clean condition Hilux's in the states now. These JDM car importers are popping up everywhere now.
