    hit a frost heave in the road not long ago and went right through the bench seat. im 175lbs ,this happen to anyone else?

    New frame mod. 265/75/16 Duratracs.
    Wow that's crazy. I have the bench seat too and its fine. Are you the original owner? Maybe the previous one was a wide load (____/____) and put a lot of wear on the seat.

    JunkYard, I got 2 buckets and the center console for $100, It was like driving a new truck :) I didnt have to drill anyholes everything bolted right in, just had to cut the carpet.

    i bought ut used, the guy had to have been a load. most of the strands were broken and the bump finished it off. junk yards wanted well over $200 for a bench seat. i work in a quarry and took a piece of heavy screen , put it under the seat and used the original springs to fasten it. its nice not having to look through the steering wheel.

    thats pretty funny the same thing happened to my old 86 pickup but that seat was worn out and dying :D
