Blue and Yellow HIDS. JDM? EURO? etc..

I've noticed A LOT of cars and trucks are doing the blue/white and yellow HID fogs combo. Just curious, what group originated it. JDM, EURO, DOMESTIC. etc... Im seeing them on a lot of American cars also such as Chevys and jeep cherokees etc. is it a fad or do people do it for the visibility?

When you mix different colors you get a high concentration of white light. Generally, this happens when you mix blue and yellow wavelengths.
It's hard to duplicate unless you can keep the color temperature the same across the entire lamp.

No.. it's not just a "style" Mixing color temperatures will give you a higher concentration of white light.

 

Yellow is great for FOG, does not reflect as much as White. its old school tech, meets new tech Yellow HIDs.

 

it's not JDM nor Euro..

it's because yellow is better in fog/snow, so many put 3k HIDs in their foglights.

in europe though, you see a ton of yellow headlights, less blinding for others too. Here it's illegal I think.
