Blue corner lights illegal?

can you get the corner lights in colors other than that blue?

 

What are the laws for putting those in here in Texas?? I have no idea ........man I was thinking of putting those on this weekend, I just don't know now!!

 

Ya know, I fully understand why certain colors need to be in certain places but IMO, a working bulb of any color is better and safer than burnt out ones. Why are there so many cars running around with burnt out lights that obviously aren't getting the attention they deserve for not even having working lights? Seems like those need the attention far worse from a safety standpoint. I see many more cars driving around with burnt out bulbs or non-working ones than ones with wrong colors. Maybe the cops could focus on those & maybe just give warnings to people with wrong colored ones the first time and give them tickets after the warning goes unheeded. Fix it tickets still waste your time, gas and money from not being at work to take care of. Does this also mean that all these people with blue neons under the car get tickets too? Why not, according to the qouted laws above they should. What about the neons on motorcycles? Wrong colors in wrong spots, same safety issues if not more so. Seat belt and airbag but nothing for unprotected people on bikes. Senseless just sucks. Does all this point to people with colorblindness not even being able to get a license? Why not? If color blind people can't tell what color lights are then they pose the same safety risk if they can't tell which end of the car is which at night as having wrong colors in wrong places.

I had blue corners for over 6 months in AZ and never heard one word about it from police, I have red corners now and had an officer point them out but he didn't give me any fuss about them.

 

I've had my reds on my truck now for 2 months...no problems yet
