That’s because they haven’t met me! =) I’ve loved that color since I first saw it before it was even released in ‘16. But I’m a royal blue and indigo blue guy all the way, so it’s all a matter of opinion.

I will say, though, great name! :)

Sweet truck and pretty much the Taco I have a deposit on (but is not even on Toyota's horizon); a BCM TRD Sport DCSB 6MT with all of the packages.

Very sharp truck!!! Love mine too! Well except for after today... less than 3k miles and now it's getting ripped apart for a new timing chain cover gasket... Enjoy it and hope you have much better luck!!!

Yikes.....yeah hope I have good luck with it. I have a 6 speed 2018 Forester(probably one of the last they made) as my other vehicle and already the fit & finish and clutch feel so much better then that thing.

Ugh... I saw your post on this in a prior thread. Bummer deal. At least you have the warranty to cover your costs. Now I'm going to be keeping an eye on mine. Hopefully mine wasn't a Monday or Friday build... Oh, by the way, did you get a tune? Like it?

Yeah I’m glad warranty covers it. Just don’t like the fact that my truck is getting torn apart that much. But what can ya do?!? I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you! Yeah I did get the KDMAX tune and love it! Added a KnN air filter element and a cat back flow master dual outlet exhaust. Woo hoo! Sounds a little meaner. Well as mean as a 3.5 V6 can sound. How are you liking yours so far?

I like it overall. Still has that shift issue and I would much rather have gotten an manual. But, I needed something quick for work and it worked out. Shifts better than my old 17 did though. Bought a little H&H style single axle trailer today that I won a silent bid on. Towed it back today in a bit of a headwind and got 14 MPG so... To be fair, the ramp is a big sail on the back, but these trucks need 4:88 gearing from the factory. Running 4th gear for a light trailer in the wind kinda "blows" (pardon the pun). On the plus side, I did get 20mpg on the way down though.

Did get some running boards added to help with the gravel travel...

Ever since I got the tune, the shifting seem much better. Holds gears longer and doesn’t hunt as much. Oh nice! Congrats on the win. 20 isn’t bad, but dang 14? Hell what am I saying… in the winter I’ve barely gotten over 12-14. But I don’t drive far or much. Since I got the tune the 2nd week of February, I’ve put on maybe 225 miles. Once summer comes it will get a few more miles on it and hopefully better mileage.

Keep us updated on the repairs and the tune. I've been eyeing the KDmax tune and the new Nexus tune. Too bad there's not a nexus tuner near me that I'm aware of. KDmax is in Kansas City and that's still a jaunt for me to drive. I'm tempted to just gear... But dang, that's expensive...

Thanks Man, I appreciate it. Only other thing I've done is add my old light bar and put blaster surface shied on the frame for rust protection. Now that work decided (recently) to offer fleet vehicles, I may just keep this rig till it dies. At least until the new one comes out. LOL.

Just picked up my Blue Crush Metallic yesterday, placed deposit on 7 Jan. Not the color I originally ordered, but this on became available so I grabbed it. Couldn't tell on line if I would like it or not, But in person it is really nice. The photo shows my 2001 Toyota MR2 Spyder as well.C5uqwN_A6c2_bfs7qEQ6je2hvvmX9eyYkqIvjwnw_74f1c5cf47cee0cb528aabfa9a7043884a3c6b3e.jpgqSC7iUJ-V0VwuPMGiDx_ZgF2D_QpXPZwiCAxIjxl_13e7b519aaa4e4525af16758e8ef24638aa452e2.jpgThDmqBKCFYTY8KIi313MPHviw5Pi0rvQ7Sf3IaMI_d7fad9906bf71bed490bd08b8e5c9bf25a0a029c.jpg

I love the MR2 Spyder! I saw one yesterday for the first time in quite a while. I'm thinking about buying an old Lexus or Toyota as a project car. I've been looking at the MR2 W20, W30, Toyota Celsior if I can find one in America, LS400, GS300, SC300 and SC400.

over past year ive gone from hating this colour to slowly considering ordering this colour... it goes really good with a blacked out theme and with bronze wheels.
