No, too busy spending a king's ransom on this 'mid-life refresh' that hope to hell ends soon. Just now upgrading the tired stock suspension. Praying that I don't discover bad wheel bearings when I do the front end (coilovers, steering rack, outer tie rods, UCAs, LCA bushings, lower ball joints, etc.) this weekend.

If I ever do paint it, I'll probably keep it white. My OCD is too powerful to handle a differently colored engine bay, and I just can't justify spending the kind of money and prep time a proper paint job would cost. Thinking white with some retro striping...

But damn, Paradise Blue is still my dream color.

This Model / Color was probably the primary reason I fell in love with Tacoma's. I was in my 20's when I saw one of these brand new at a convenience store and loved the color. If that color had been an option when I purchased my PreRunner new in '03 I would be sporting it today!!

i can't honestly say that i knew that color was an option in 1997 (since its been so long ago), they did not have one on the dealer lot anyways iirc to choose from (green white black) and just one MT with all the goodies when I needed an upgrade from the single cab for out-of-town contracts at the time that required use of a personal vehicle.
the bright blue metallic single cab i had for a couple years probably would have swayed me to get the paradise blue if it had exact same 'stuff' as my xtracab
