Thanks bro! Its so sweet to finally have my own after drooling over them forever haha.. I was just looking at all the pics from your last few trips, really digging the light bar setup. What are you running on the top, 42inch ?

Haha yeah man! Good for you! I was so stoked when I got mine as well! They look awesome, they work awesome, and they're just plain awesome!! Oh thanks man, yeah it's a 42" on top and a 20" on the bumper. I got them both on Amazon. They are "Hyperions". Top cost me $120 and the bumper one cost me $60. They are both very bright and have worked great for me so far. Just couldn't pull the trigger on a Rigid cuz of the cost, even tho they're pretty sweet.

Hah I can't wait either! There were some delays that were out of my hands. I also have a rear bumper that's coming the end of Feb :spy:

Damn looks great.. I couldn't pull the trigger on a rigid either for the price too. The bars I have are rated perfectly well for water and dust and I've had no issues at all. Definitely want to pull the trigger on a curved 42in for the roof though.

Thats sweet what bumper did you end up with?? Both of those are on my to do list!

Yeah same here. Rated for water and dust and they've held up nicely. Heck yeah dude the curves bars look super sick! I'd love one as well. Going for a winch though right now.

Yeah that's sweet one. I was looking at the smittybilt XRC 9.5 waterproof one with the synthetic line. I will have to modify my bumper to accommodate it though. When I built my bumper I didn't really know if I was going to install a winch but definitely seeing an increasing need for one.

Hell yeah, it seems to be a great winch and the waterproofing seems to be reassuring to have.

Yeah the waterproof is the key for me, and with synthetic line you can't really go wrong IMO. I usually havent done much lone wheeling but now that i have the RTT i know I'm going to want to go more and other trucks aren't available to camp, then the winch is a must for any self recovery predicaments.

OHhh gotcha, read it wrong.. A Warn Zeon would be a perfect winch for me if it wasn't for the price haha

Completely agree! My wife and I did a 2 week trip in September from Los Angeles where we live and we went to Denver, up through Wyoming, down the through Idaho and Utah. (All those pics on my build page) 3200 miles in 13 days. The wheeling we did wasn't as hard as we would have liked, although very fun! That was due to the fact that we didn't have as much recovery gear as we would have liked. But yeah I'm super stoked for you again that you got an RTT! They're sooo awesome!! All I had to tell my wife was "babe, we'll be off the ground from bugs and other critters" and she was like "BUY IT!!!" Haha.

Haha, sounds pretty similar to me. My girlfriend really liked the annex that she could change in and still be inside and warm from the wind and stuff, and so do I. Judging by our camping trip the other day she loves the tent. We were warm, dry, and had a blast.. Heres some pics from the trip.

Some background on the trip: It was rainy, poured on us for about 2 hours, but the tent was great and not a drip was inside and we were very warm and comfortable. After the rain came the wind, and besides the noise from the rainfly and tent, once again very warm and comfortable. We woke up to a crisp 31 degrees, but couldn't tell from the inside. The tent was perfect and we had a lot of fun. Can't wait to head out again!

I actually just picked up the XRC9.5 Synthetic yesterday.
It's all apart getting greased and sealed up to my specs. The build quality is high up and you can't beat the price at all. Just to give you all my experience so far.

Hell yeah! Good for you guys! So awesome! RTT's are just sooo bada$$!!! On my big trip we woke up to 32 degrees 5 mornings and there was frost on the rain fly. Kept nice and warm. The annex is awesome! Helped keep it warmer inside for sure. Haha I'm right there with ya! Hoping to get out again maybe at the end of this month!
