    1. The volt meter lets me know how many volts the amp is running off of and how many volts the battery is displacing.

    2. The circuit breaker is actually 300A which is way too high. This is all I could find locally when I was putting this together. I just ordered a 150A circuit breaker last night from the Blue Wave Audio website. The fuse in the voltmeter is 200A. This is the fuse for my amp.

    3. Yes, the volt meter is only connected to my amp. The Fuse Block is for my HID lights, driving lights and underhood LED lights. I 2 extra banks for when I add anymore accessories.

Yeah, do a google search and plenty of sites will come up but most will only sell in large quantities. I would check your local stereo shop to see if they sell in 1 foot lengths.

I am not an electrical person at ALL!

Can I get a quick run down on why you need an extra fuse box or the benefit of it?

Less wires to the battery, more organized and I think easier to trouble shoot if you have issues down the road.

    Thanks!

Interesting. I am guessing you have extra wires from more stereo components and extra lighting. Looks great nonetheless! Very very clean :)

So far I have both sets of driving lights, HID headlights and the underhood LED's wired to the fuse block. I have room for 2 more accessories. Not sure what they will be used for but it's good to know they are there if needed.

This is great. I recently finished up my stereo system and added lights to my nfab bar and my wiring underneath the hood is atrocious, as I haven't had time to clean it up.

I'm definitely going to look into doing this, especially for the price point.

Any reason why I couldn't use a Car Audio fuse block, since I have a few laying around? Well, now that I think about it they are 1/0 in and 4/8 out, and I don't really need 4 or 8 gauge wiring running to my lights...

I suppose any type of boat dealer around town ought to have one of those fuse blocks eh?

Thanks for the post and the quick DIY!

Yeah, any type of fuse block will work. Just make sure to use the correct gauge of wire for the application you are using it for.

If your local boat dealer doesn't have them in stock they can probably order one. Mine did for me.

I dont know how I feel about you having the circuit breaker in-line to the fuse block. all circuits that are fed by the fuse block have are fused anyway.. having the circuit breaker in-line to the fuse block may just complicate things if it's not a high enough amperage. I guess it probably works in your case, and better safe than sorry right? Looks really good though. Nice work, I'll have to pick up some of that techflex.. i usually use wire loom but it doesnt look as good.
