Cool...It's a good deal! It's comes bare so be ready to paint it. I used Rustoleum bedliner out of a can. Has held up fine over the last year.

Hey this is kinda off topic...but...does anyone know what size connectors we need to hook up to the blue sea fuse box? I need to hook up my lights, I finally got the box all hooked up, but nothing is hooked up to it, because I dont know what size connectors with the right size O rings to get...

    Are you talking about these:

    or these:

It depends on what size wire you are using.

I was thinking about the second ones, but the problem I keep finding, is I cant get the washer head small enough with a bigger butt end for the correct guage of wire...This is an extreme example, but do you know if they make that little red guys washer, with the big yellow butt? Thats the problem I keep running into

I don't see why you would have to use that large gauge of wire when connecting items to the fuse block. I wouldn't use wire any larger than 12 gauge which will fit into the "red" connector.

Well mostly because its not my wire. Its aux lights and fog lights, and Im not going to change out the entire wiring for them...PIAA used larger wire than I would have, but, im certainly not going to try to rewire it all. Thats why I'm trying to figure out where I might get some funky connectors.

I know this is an older thread but...I noticed that you have a Red Top with the side posts. did you attach the factory terminals to the sides and then the aftermarket stuff to the top terminals? I am working on my distro block and I have a Yellow Top with side terminals and I want it to be a clean install. Thanks for the help

I actually have the Yellow Top D34/78 now which is the same size as the Red Top I previously had.

Yes, I have the factory terminals to the side posts and aftermarket terminals to the top posts. In order to do this I had to buy a longer ground cable that connects to the inside fender area and I also had to extend the factory positive cable about a 1/2" with an aftermarket battery clamp. The factory postive cable pretty much has no slack after connecting it but it fits fine and have no no issues.

In this picture you can see the new ground cable connected to the body of the truck. I don't remember the exact length I purchased, maybe 12". You can also see the factory positive cables pulled tight to the positive side post of the battery.

In this picture you can see how I connected a new clamp to the factory positive cable. I had to modify the factory clamp to get this aftermarket gold clamp on there. I then cleaned up the wiring with shrinktubing.

Nice set-up. Where and how did you secure the battery box?
