Seems to be going in and out. Traffic is mostly about other civilian matters, but I'm getting bits and pieces of the manhunt on that freq.

I am a libertarian and people have accused me of being "anti-police" but I believe you are entirely wrong.

Yes, the LAPD has major corruption problems. Most police agencies do IMO.

Maybe he got fired for the wrong reason, lots of people do.

BUT.....when you get fired from your job, you dont go kill the innocent daughter of the person who represented you and you dont kill her innocent husband either.

You also dont go on a rampage killing other people who had nothing to do with your firing.

You dont kill people over being fired. That is NOT standing up for what you believe in. Thats homicidal lunacy.

This man is CRAZY and he is EVIL.

We have all been wronged in our lives but we dont go killing people over it.

Sadly this story isnt over and i'm afraid more people are going to be killed.

LAPD Head Psychiatrist just stated he does not believe this man has any form of mental illness. He is standing up for what he believes is right, and unfortunately, he is armed and has military and police training making him a major threat. I agree, it is WRONG to do what he is doing, but all I'm saying is that anybody in his situation, HIS SPECIFIC SITUATION...not just getting fired from his job, would have thoughts like he does. He just happened to act on them.

And if you had read the entire manifesto, he is not just killing random people because he got fired. Go read it and then form your own opinion.

Amazes me how anyone can justify his actions and romanticise his manifesto ...

    ...too much shit to list.
While I'm partly in agreement with you, you are taking the entire manifesto at face value. I could just as easily written up a well formed piece of literary fiction and posted it to facebook too....well...if I had FB. Just saying, you're no closer to the truth than I am for HIS SPECIFIC SITUATION.

Please do not mistaken me for somebody who is doing the above. I have no affinity for his manifesto, I am just saying how it left me, and reporting his own message. I'm definitely NOT justifying these actions. I have a very high respect for LEO's, and I'm just as mortified as anybody about his actions. I'm just saying this isn't some mentally ill person, shooting up a storm of people for no reason. He is very clear in why he's doing what he's doing, although very very wrong and severely fucked up.

Very true. I've thought about the fact that somebody can just as easily write something like this, and then when the bullets start flying, he regrets ever starting the whole thing. I'm just along for the ride, here.

Eh...likely wont be anything interesting at all. It's pretty much business as usual around here anyway, minus all the cops around.

One thing you guys need to realize is just because he is in the Military doesn't necessarily mean he has combat experience. He is a reservist and received a "ribbon" for the pistol and rifle. I've shot both and qualified basic which qualifies you for a "ribbon" doesn't mean I'm a super awesome combat expert. Shit, the last time I shot for the Military was damn near 10 years ago.

He's smart, no doubt about that and he's a LEO which does make him more dangerous than the usual nutjob with a gun.

I was worried this morning because the two police shootings occured close to my house and one shooting was literally next door to my nephews elementary school.

Plus, when the police are in this state I am worried I might get shot.

Somebody (I think Chris4x4) brought something up that really intrigued me...

He stated that the police might be investigating the truck and scouring the area as a diversion to the suspect. Interesting.

    This is true.

There was no reason for him to burn the truck. The police know who he is and its highly unlikely they would need any evidence from the truck.

He lit the truck on fire IMO as a diversionary tactic. There are rumors now that the police dont think hes even in the area anymore.

I think he is sitting somewhere right now planning his next murder.

He cannot flee. He cannot escape anywhere for very long. He is in it now and I think the only resolution is going to be death for more people and death for him.

The dude is long gone. If I were the people on the list, I'd either hide for the rest of my life, vindicate Chris, or off myself.

Chris is a dangerous man on a mission and he will kill any cop that gets in his way. Along the way, he has outlined and promoted an elaborate tale of bold corruption and public disregard within the LAPD. In a sick and twisted way, he is ridding the system of some bad people (according to him), and taking some collateral damage along the way.

Prayers for the innocent people, cops, and bystanders wounded and killed during this ordeal. The real battle is between the 10 people on the list and Chris. And if the LAPD would rather shoot and kill innocent civilians vs protecting 10 potentially dirty cops, then they are as bad as Chris.

    Chris: 5 (3 dead, 2 wounded)
LAPD: 3 (2 wounded, 1 shot at (in Honda))
