that is not true the more and more local Californians leave the higher the prices will get, because foreign people will move in to jack up the prices. Seen in my city for 15 years.

for the mistaking the tacoma for the titan, keep in mind it was 5:15 in the morning, it was super dark out, and I'm sure that was the only car to drive down there at that hour...still really sucks innocent people were shot.

Irrelevant. They weren't trying to ID a truck, they were trying to ID a man. A very large man. So what if that SWB Taco was a grey Titan with a roof rack and Tonneau? Then it was acceptable to unload into it? Time of day = non-issue.

Still disagree completely. There is no possible way shooting without ID is okay. No excuse whatsoever. They're professionals (or should be) and it is their job to take that risk. I have massive respect for cops. Policing streets in the Stan made me have a realization for what cops go through daily, but that said, I know it is their responsibility to take that risk to PID a target before unloading into it. Absolutely not acceptable, no matter how "threatened" you feel. No excuse whatsoever.

Anyone with basic training around guns should know so many things about this look wrong.

The carnage does not look like a professional with a gun. Has the look of a gang shooting. Complete disregard for any kind of safety or procedure.

From the pictures on the very first page it looked like the driver side front tire was flat...

How did that happen from the angle they were shooting?

Unfortunately for the police the law in America doesnt allow for "shoot on sight".

The officers have to observe a direct threat to their lives or well being.

    Neither shooting was legally justified.

Due to qualified immunity none of the police will be held responsible but unfortunately for the tax payers of Los Angeles and Torrance they will be paying HUGE amounts of money that could have gone to schools and other important issues.

Ironic though because the cop killer was angry at the "blue shield" and I can assure that the officers involved in the shooting have NOT been questioned and are currently coordinating their stories with their union attorneys and then waiting for evidence supplied from LAPD to put a version of events that justifies their actions.

    No one will be fired.

But the cop killer was fired.

    Minus the Stan.

They are looking jumpy and trigger happy while endangering innocent citizens. Luckily they have been bad shots so far.

This whole thing is crazy.. Read the manifesto and this dude is pissed, And knows his shit. The "african american Jason Borne" comment had me rolling. I find myself holding my tongue on some of this being that this site is dominantly pro LEO, But there are some things that this guy is saying that make sense and are very real. In NO way am I condoning/agreeing with his actions thus far.. If only this man had done very different things to shed light on them, It could have actually brought positive change.

Crap rolls down hill, never up. Nothing will change, even if there was a huge investigation and blow out and hundreds of people were found guilty of crimes and prosecuted, guess what, some other schmuck still runs the show next week.

Im sure the media would have had a party with some of the info that he knows and could have released. Or fought for some kind of local outreach of some kind. I dunno, I just wish it was handled another way. :(
