Look, everybody is going to have their own opinion on the whole matter, and there's no changing of anybody's mind. So let's be clear, I'm not againts cops, nor am I with this guy. I'm just doing my own independent research, without media bias, and forming my own opinion on the topic.

That being said, I don't see eye to eye with you. Growing up as darker skin teenager in SoCal has shown me that profiling is a very real thing, and the guys wearing the badges really do think they're the shit. I've been pulled over, searched, cuffed, sat on a sidewalk, questioned, and verbally harrassed with racial remarks by LEO's of all different departments and levels. YET, I've NEVER been arrested, and the most serious crime I've ever committed was speeding 68 in a 55 when I was in high school.

I've only ran into TWO deputies who have honestly been nice and respectful without a condescending tone. One instance, a CHP officer pulled me over on the street to tell me my gas cap was open, and the other was another CHP on the road that pulled me over because I forgot to put my new tags on my plate, and he didn't want me to get a ticket from the Sheriff's dept. Other than that, my experience with OC Sheriff's, LAPD, Irvine PD, Laguna Beach PD, and San Bernardino PD has WREAKED of guilty until proven innocent.

Being a white male in your 50's will get you respect with cops around here. Being a brown 22 year old college student driving a brand new Tacoma will get you 21 questions and a search justified by "probable cause".

These are the fucking facts. Back up the LAPD all you want, but THIS SHIT ^^^^^^^^^ Is the truth.

I sincerely hope multitudes of people sue the fuck out of that department.

Edit: everyone should just repost this over and over, to drown out the idiots defending the LAPD

Thank you man, you've said what every brown or black man in America knows about most all cops. They treat everyone like fucking garbage and figure from their point of view, everyone is a fucking dirtbag. Fucking arrogance amazes me.

Only the biggest loophole in the CA police force. "Probable Cause" allows any LEO to search your shit without a warrant. They can say "I smelled weed back there" and strip your shit to pieces. Happened to me twice. And guess what? They found SQUAT.

I think the majority are pretty chill. No real name calling.
Leos are, I'm sure, well intentioned people. Some know how to enforce the law. Some know how to enforce thier law.
We all profile. We all judge and have weird little flashes of racism. It's when we let it affect us, that's the problem.
LEOs must have that distinction, and try their hardest not to let themselfs profile.
I'm sure most police officers are great. Some I have dealt with were. Some not so much. Around here, race isn't the factor. But I have noticed class might be. No one here has bashed cops in their entirety. No one has condoned all the actions of dorner. No one really knows what's going on. There's a great deal of speculation. And I think we can all speculate without locking this up.

My ex's daughter got thrown in the local shithole jail for probable cause for DUI, she blew nothing and refused the BAC (like she should have), five days, no charges filed.

650H1, I want to move to your jurisdiction. Sounds like a great place, where every cop is out for the greater good of the people, and no LEO has a personal agenda.

Looking at this picture closely and the guy with the Mini either doesnt have a mag in the rifle or is using the stock 5 rd Ruger magazine.

He also appears to have high cap mags in his tactical vest.

Either way I find that mildly amusing.
