Blue tooth issues

I recently started to have issues with my 2018 Tacoma’s stereo. The system turn off, then kept on rebooting. I had my Dealership take a look at it and after a few trips to they replaced the Panasonic head unit. As soon as I turned on, I paired my iPhone8, it started normal but within a couple of minutes it turned off again and the rebooting process started all over again.

I contacted the Dealership again and they implied that it may be my phone so was going to test it on my wife’s phone. Next day, after removing the bt from my phone tried to pair it with my wife’s but the bt from the Taco did not show up as available. Meanwhile none of stereo buttons from the head unit works. I tried to pair it back to my cell and again the bt from my Taco did not show up.

I will be taking my Taco back to the Dealership in a couple of days and after stumbling through your forum I know is not an isolated incident and they should know and be more professional about it.

Maybe the firmware they’re running. I’m in an 18 with the jbl and software is from 2017 and have never had an issue. Literally never updated it
