Seems I'm asking too much. Someone has 10 days off work. Same time, I have a stretch where I work 19 days without a day off...

Moral of the story, I shouldn't ask to interrupt her vacation by expecting her to deal with responsibilities....I should just be willing to work every day and then come home and work every day.

I'm not married, or have ever been, so I can't speak from experience here.

However, joint-responsibilities should be shared. My lady and I already know this and it already happens

Rule # 1 when you're married; It doesn't matter what you know, or what is fair. (Spoken from experience)
After a few years of marriage, you no longer know ANYTHING.

Did 9 years hard labor in marriage #1. Got "paroled" from that one.

    Apparently didn't learn my lesson.

Will be 17 in #2 in September.

    If......

If I can avoid being @ work, we'll both be there. There's a meeting here @ 11am friday. I'll know then if I'm expected to be here Saturday.

My stash of Wild Turkey Rare Breed has developed a severe leak. (in proximity to missing cork) Fortunately I have shot glass readily available to catch the spillage.

On a similar front, starting to develop blurred vision. That was right after 5th shot glass. Now on #8. (and counting)

    Drunk texting to ensue.
