Yeah... I've said it a million times...I LOVE my job. It was just one asshole that ruined everything. He's gone. Now I have my life back.

I was handed a 1st draft for a contract to keep me here for a few more years. Calls for 7 more days each year for next 5 years. If I stay through 2022, I have almost 3 MONTHS paid time off per year

    Power vacuum.

No boss, so everyone else now THINKS they're boss. 3 ice machines "melt" simultaneously. First order? Panic, Second order? Start calling (all the wrong) people. Thanks for the concern people, but now I have over $600 in service charges and first hour cost......

I get here this morning, find TWO different contractors waiting. First machine needed new filters. I have them in stock and could have EASILY taken care of the issue without $80 an hour tech. Second unit has a bad motor. New machine, with 33 months of warranty left. Called vendor. New motor installed next Tuesday.

3rd and final machine. By the time I made it to that one, tech had already taken off all the covers, and spent an hour "trouble shooting" it. He failed to look at the off/on switch. Had he looked, he would have noticed it was turned off. Flipped the switch and it cranked right up. No idea who turned it off, but most likely someone who should have left their freaking paws off of it.

Sometimes we have TOO MUCH help.
