9 balmy degrees this morning. 3 days with flu symptoms....so far, just weak from 3 days with the flu...but feeling MUCH better this morning. Back to work. There was a time in my life that I hardly paid attention to the weather. Hot or cold, I just didn't let it slow me down. Around 45/50ish, heat began to take a toll. Had to learn to prepare for dealing with heat. Then, in the past few years (55/60) I got to where I can't do extreme cold as well as I used to. All the extra clothes seems to wear me down!

Weather guesser says next 9days "well below average". Below average for late Dec/early Jan ain't real promising.

    Winter sucks.

9 degrees when I left the house while ago. By the time I got to work, all the way up to a toasty 11 degrees. Puts me in mind to go swimming!

I got an offer on my restored Airstream camper yesterday. Too good to pass up. It was ideal to tow behind my Dodge 2500... OK for short trips , But....Too much for long trips behind the Tacoma. A friend has a fully restored 1967 Chevy 3/4-ton, and will be pulling the camper behind it (when he goes to car shows) I now have ALMOST enough saved up for front locker and expo trailer. Time to start shopping!

I guess my dad's old theory still has some validity... "Have a job on the last day of the year and the next year starts off good". At work now, waiting for someone else to get here so I can go home.

It's a toasty 8 degrees now. 6 when I left the house. I'm pleased that Tacoma's heater warms up quick. Cold AF.

In case I get busy later, Hippo Nood Yer!
