Back to a stock grill. Color matched instead of chrome. May do something with the emblem. Maybe not. Waiting on a new hook from Warn. Always changing.

In all likelihood, the stock surround will probably end up with a mesh insert, THEN the '78 Land Cruiser emblem

That's so much better, to me. You prefer it?

I think the other would look good if color matched, too. Derp the emblem like the cool kids, or get devil horns.

I edited the pic post....Most likely will put a mesh insert in THIS grill and then the Land Cruiser emblem in that. OEM grill (surround) MUCH higher quality than the aftermarket.

Why are you getting a hook? From what everyone we wheel with feels, a shackle is the better option.

For the record....Black grill looked much better in person. Too shiny so it drew too much eye focused on it.

    OEM better quality

I prefer the OEM grill 10 to 1.

    Considering red devil horns.....maybe

Shackle means more moving parts when you're hooking up. That's OK most of the time. Sux when it's 4 degrees. No one says I'm staying with and/or changing to something else for good. I like to experiment.

    Yep....test's @ 11.2 volts.

OR has bigger alt than Sport/base. (130 amp instead of 100)

    $722installed at a place I'm familiar with.

At least all the ice will be melted.

Dang sorry about the alternator. I liked the old grill and landcruiser letter better personally. Just my .02 cents.

And I would call you a moron if you did....

It's now 14 degrees, wind chill -7. Truck is covered with ice. 3" of snow on everything. And the alternator itself is over $400. Can't wait on a cheaper one. And my back hurts.

No Freaking way I'd work outside in this shit
