Long day @ work. Figured some wrench therapy would be helpful. I have a pair of OME 887's that need to go on, replacing the 885's. I get home, get all the tools out. Then I roll out the floor jack and jack stands. Just as I'm about to pull the front tires/wheels off, the sky opens up and the 0% chance of rain becomes a flash flood.

Rain is slowing. Now I get to put the wheels back on and put everything back where it belongs. It'll be next week before I'll have time to try it again.

    Oh well....

I managed to get everything back in the garage just in time for another deluge.

Got a meeting next week with my banker. Gonna tap into our savings and pay off the medical bills. Also, if the wife doesnt lose her mind, snagging enough to order sliders, front bumper, winch, maybe a rear bumper, possibly a set of rear springs, an IFS skid plate. I want to have all this done this summer.

Then start hunting for a cap for the bed.

BTW, the Bronco deal imploded. No title. Seller took it from someone that owed him money. Never got the title. I was told that it. " might have a stolen report on it". Thinking this might not be such a good thing to sink money into....

    Hoarders, the Pet Edition.

3 dogs isn't so bad. It's the 6 parrots that sorta went over the edge. 2 are messy. The other 4 create a little mess, but those 2....They try to throw food across the room at each other. Every day when I get home from work, let the dogs out, feed and change water for the birds and let them play for a while so they don't end up with cage aggression, then put the birds back in their cages, let the dogs in, feed them, then sweep/vacuum the area around the bird cages. Generally takes 90 minutes to 2 hours. EVERY DAY....

Funny thing....The wife wanted the dogs. (I was OK with 1) Then she wanted the birds. (I didn't want ANY at first, but I'm OK with ONE) All 3 dogs stick to me like Velcro. All 6 birds hang with me. And I get to do ALL the feeding and watering, plus she's rarely got time to spend with any of them. I think I've been tricked.
