    Windows, Not sure about some of the new stuff. Our email is now "reviewed"....ie, "Big Brother" upstairs sees what we send in/out. Anything I don't respond to in 72 hours is deleted from my mail list. This will fuck us up if/when we are on vacation. Not sure our new IT "team" knows what they're doing.

    Fax needs to die here. Was a headache when we went to the VOIP system. Analog/digital converters and all that.
    But some customers don't leave their respective hollers often to see the outside world.

    24 hours from hell....

    3 major HVAC issues, which triggered 5 MORE smaller issues. Trying to decide which one needed to be brought back on line first, second, etc.... Then we brought in outside help, plus 3 of my own crew. Some here all night. I was back on site @ 0400. We just now got everything fired and working. In 10 minutes the first Derby week brunch crowd is seated. I can exhale....

    Having a boss who's head doesn't explode when we have to deal with problems is invaluable.

    Time for lunch (and a nap)

    Then using air gun to blow out truck interior. That created a major dust cloud.

    Ready to consume sangria and shrimp fajita's next. (Cinco de Mayo Eve)

    Neighborhood Derby Eve block party after that.

    There will be a semi-intoxicated old dood running the neighborhood very soonish.

    Once you hit the point where you suspect your partying daze are over, and life hands you a second chance, there is far greater joy in celebrating!
