Like the ride. Just wish they gave a touch more lift. With bumper/skids/sliders/winch I got less than 2" above stock. I'll be adding 1/2" plate spacers soon.

Ok. That's basically where I'm at now i think. It will be a long time before I get a real front bumper and winch, but i was thinking these and a 1/2" spacer on the driver, and a 1/4" on the passenger would work. I'm been looking but have found a actual mm length for the eibachs like the ome's have available. Have you considered nitros and 886's? I would love to have a set of big boy coilovers, but I'm too broke for those still.

Dont like OME shocks. Had em on my Tundra.

I bought the 887s 2nd hand an Im wondering if they arent 885s. Thats what I had. These "887s" are the same ride hieght.

I've only driven my truck 3 times since i put the skid on (3rd time was just a bit ago). I guess i should get used to the difference in feel and replace my lca bushings first :anonymous:

It may be all in my head :goingcrazy:

The wind came up while ago.... Mid 90s dropped to mid 60s. Sky got black and the rain came down. Still raining. Fog. Thunder in the distance.

    Sleeping weather!

10k on my STT PROs. Tire guy said "Let's balance 'em again while we're rotating". I said "Let's".

And so we will. @ 1PM

Tahrs rotated. 5 tire pattern. Hoping to get 55 to 60k. Lots o' miles for mudders.

If I dont replace em with turdy fibes first.

Or buy a Jeep or FJ first.

Buy a FJ. Jeeps are just played out and the 4x4 version of a Mustang.

This from someone who's never owned a Jeep.

    #unlimitedpotential

May end up dumping cubic $$$$$ into Tacoma. Who knows. Just want a dedicated trail rig I can bash on.

Yes, I've never owned either. Because they're everywhere and all look the same. But whatever floats your cracker.

I imagine a Heep would be easier/cheaper to mod up to snuff with a Taco.

There is a reason why they've sold millions just in the US.

That still doesn't sell me on them lol

I'd own an older Jeep with a straight 6, maybe. As a dedicated trail rig. If I was rich and had a diesel truck and trailer to pull it.
