Still like to own another jeep some day. And a Corvette. And a Land Rover. And a bass boat. And......

Actually want an OLD Jeep. '70 or older

Still would take the FJ over the Corvette. Even if it's a Corvette that you are certain you will only own for two days, as was the case for me. Definition of #NOFUCKSGIVEN. ..too bad there were no smart phones then :bananadead:

Ectually......FJ motor (as it sits) may be the best part of it. For now. No thoughts of mo motor. Yet. Some day it will be a diesel. No rush.

Long travel Suspension.....BIG tires full armor .....gearsxlockers.....winch......cool interior w/navigation equipment. NATO tri-color camo.

A buddy that lives near Chicago has the "prototype" of what I want to build. Not camo though...

May never be finished. The journey will be greater than arriving at the destination.

Again....a retirement project. I don't retire until NEXT August.

Cool! Local tire biz where I bought tires and wheels is about to use photos of my truck in an add campaign.

That and $.50 will buy me a cup of coffee....but still cool....!

Awake and out of bed a couple hours early.

    Because pain....

6 days of incredibly hard work setting up the city swim meet has left it's mark. I'm tired an sore. Still have 2+ days of hard work breaking it down and cleaning up the residual effects. I held up better than expected, but the fuel tank is about empty.

I need rest. Thursday or Friday at the soonest.
