I got it from Headstrong. It's the same exact thing AllPro sells less the tapped holes.

Moron/asshat/boss just called. (And I was stupid enough to answer) He wants to have an eclipse party on the 21st......on the golf course.

He shouldn't call me when I'm drinking.

    Tomorrow should be interesting.

OK....Did I really call my boss a "rude, inconsiderate moron".

    My wife said I did

The email I have from the rude inconsiderate moron says I did.

    Must have, huh?

    Because Wild Turkey

Because he's a rude, inconsiderate moron

    Funny thing...He never denied it

He just passed along what I said and asked for a face to face meeting later today.

I don't see it as a bromance letter.

@ Hooters eating and checking temp on their beer.

If I can discretely do so, I'll take a picture that explains how their name came to be.

I'm "insubordinate" and have a bad attitude.

Well yeah! Tell me somthing I don't know.

Asshat implied he will fire me if I call him any more names.

I "implied" he's an idiot and can't fire me.

I went home 2 hours early.

OK....Here's where we are with the truck; make a plan and stick with it the best I can.

    1. Foglights may be here tomorrow. If so, they go in after I cut grass(when I get home from work) Also, will put on blank plates to cover cut outs in back bumper. Those lights will wait.
    2. Sliders arrive Tuesday. I'll prime them as soon as I get home, then shoot the black before going to bed that night. When I get home wed, they'll get bolted on. Thinking POSSIBLY welding them in a few spots to make them stronger (if needed)
    3. Thursday I'll finish the skids. Should take but a few minutes. Then the HiLift jack mounts @rngr passed along to me will get bolted in and the jack gets mounted.

That brings me up to date on ordered parts.... Next will be removing the stock spare. I'll find a rim and get a 285/75r16 spare and secure it in the front of the bed.

In the next few weeks, when I can get a day or two off work, the 887s go on to replace the 885s. This should set the front and rear just about level.

    Then we rest

And growing larger by the moment!

Just blocked asshats phone # from my phone. Think I'll leave it that way for a few days.

I've become the type of employee I'd fire if I worked for me!

A big golf outing here today. Centre College medical alums. 220 doctors....stroking their dimpled balls in the rain.

This will be the largest assemblage of Range Rovers and BMWs in the state on this date.

    Steady rain at the moment.

    Fuck a plan.

    Grass is cut.

Fogs a no show for today.

Paint on blank plates not drying due to humidity.

So. HiLift jack is mounted. Picked up primer and paint for sliders.

    Paid bills.

Thanks again to @rngr for the jack mounts.

I just painted my sliders yesterday. I used a self etching primer. They turned out well.

Just when I thought things were starting to stabilize a bit here at work....

I lost my #1 employee in March of this year. He'd been out since September 28th of 2016 dealing with lung/brain cancer. It was a huge loss personally as well as professionally.

    Life goes on.

Now the next in line let me know this morning he has been diagnosed with serious eye problems as a complication of diabetes and is going blind. He will soon be unable to drive in low light conditions. That's a problem because we go to work @ 5AM. He will soon be forced to take a job closer to his home, and eventually go on disability.

Asshat won't let me hire a qualified helper until spring time. That sticks me with 7 days a week. That won't happen. Just that simple.

What happened to the concept that life should get LESS complicated as you get older?
